Happy New Year! To celebrate - we are happy to announce our upcoming reef expo! This event takes place on April 12th, 2025. We are hosting it at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Pittsburgh - see our events page for more details! We can't wait to see you there!

It's that time of the year!

The 3 Rivers Marine Aquarium Society cordially invites you

to join us at our annual holiday party!  We will be hosting a holiday bash at the Hyatt Place on the North Shore in Pittsburgh. We will be providing food, soft drinks and desserts for you to enjoy as well. Bring your favorite drink (alcoholic or non) if you have a preference. There will also be a bar on-site for you to order cocktails or drinks of your choice. Bring your cheer and dress in your festive gear! See events page for details and RSVP

Our annual private tour at the Wild World of Animals is back! On October 27th, join the club as we take an extensive tour of the facility and learn all about the animals there. This is a current/paid member event ONLY and you must RSVP.
Space is limited for this event. Please be on time, once the tour starts we cannot come back to the locked gates.

Again, you must be a current member or family/guest of a current member to attend. There are no public restrooms and this is outdoors so please where appropriate clothing and footwear. Get your coolers ready! Our annual fragging workshop is here!

Watch as our coral experts demonstrate the proper fragging of corals, whether it's by using a diamond saw or a simple razor blade. Fragging is an important part of this hobby, as it gives enthusiasts the opportunity to share a bit of the ocean reef without disturbing our fragile ecosystem 'in the wild.'

As always, there will be opportunities to win coral frags yourself!

Admission is free for current 3RMAS members. Nonmembers may attend but may only participate in the drawings via ticket purchase. See 'Events' section for details and RSVP!

It has been finalized! We are readying our plans for a June 8th trip to Andrew Sandler's POLO Reef in New York! Please see events page for details and RSVP opportunity. This is a member's only event with very limited space.

Just 5 days away from our incredible Pittsburgh Reef Aquarium Expo! We will see you at Printscape Arena at Southpointe this Saturday from 11am-3pm. Bring your coolers! We will be raffling off a gorgeous Jolly Rancher torch coral donated generously by Petland Norwin! (Thanks, you guys!)

**Updated Membership Policies!**

In an effort to improve our membership system, we have implemented all membership data-keeping on our website! We have also updated our 'perks of membership' information, including the rental use of our club's PAR meter! (More info to come, such as renting policies etc).

ALSO: You may receive an email stating 'thank you for your purchase!' Do not fret - This is simply us adding you into our new system. It is not a scam and there won't be any charges made against you.

Here are some of the improvements / updates we have made:

1.) All membership subscriptions will be handled through our website. A master list will keep track of any members needing to renew vs those that are active.

2.) Memberships can be set up to renew automatically, reducing the chance of it lapsing and removing access to our club's perks! The website system will also send out reminder emails to those not automatically renewing, ensuring they can renew in time.

3.) Lifetime memberships may be purchased as well, and we are looking to include bonus perks for lifetime members! (More to follow.)

4.) ALL members in good standing receive free entry to our frag swaps and other events hosted by 3RMAS. There will be a separate 'purchase' area for free member tickets.

5.) If you are a current member, you will have active subscription up to your scheduled end-of date. From there, you can simply continue your membership via renewing on our website at www.3rmas.com
